Help Us Fill Our Shelves and Care for Cats This Spring
It’s that time of year again. Our annual Stock the Shelter campaign is back, and we’re inviting our community to help us prepare for the busy months ahead.
Keeping dozens of cats healthy, comfortable, and well cared for every day takes a steady supply of food, litter, cleaning materials, and basic essentials. Stock the Shelter is your chance to see the impact firsthand while helping us keep everything running smoothly.
Whether you bring supplies in person, shop from our wish lists, or make a donation, every contribution helps.
Join Us at One of Our April Open Houses
We’ll be hosting three Stock the Shelter open house events at our shelter in North Saint Paul:
Saturday, April 4
11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Thursday, April 9
6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 25
4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Stop by, drop off donations, and spend some time visiting our wonderful feline residents. We love opening our doors and sharing what your support makes possible.

Double Your Cash Donations Up to $5,000 in April
We are thrilled to share that a generous supporter has pledged $5,000 to match cash and online donations made during Stock the Shelter.
That means every monetary gift will be doubled — up to $5,000 — helping us purchase things that are a bit more difficult to donate, things like veterinary supplies. Monetary donations also help us cover veterinary expenses, and prepare for the increased demands of spring and kitten season.
If you are unable to attend in person, making a matched donation is another powerful way to participate.
Why Stock the Shelter Matters
Spring brings increased activity for shelters across Minnesota and our costs are increasing. As more cats enter care, our daily supply needs grow. Food, litter, cleaning products, and medical support are constant necessities.
Stock the Shelter ensures that cats receive consistent, high-quality nutrition, living spaces remain clean and healthy, medical needs are met promptly, and that we are prepared for the busy months ahead.
This campaign is about community. It is about showing up for the cats who rely on us every single day.
We’re Just Getting Started
Throughout April, we’ll share updates on our progress and celebrate the generosity of our supporters. Whether you attend an open house, shop online, or give toward the matching challenge, you are helping create stability and comfort for every cat in our care. Every item you donate is an item we don’t have to purchase, freeing some of our funds up for veterinary care for our special needs cats.
Mark your calendar, invite a friend, and help us Stock the Shelter.
We can’t wait to see you.
