JOIN US FOR CAT TALES – KIDS READING TO CATS
Cat Tales is a unique opportunity for children ages 6–13, accompanied by an adult, to spend time reading aloud to the cats at Caring for Cats. This special program combines the joy of reading with the comfort of spending time with animals in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
During each 30-minute session, children can practice their reading skills while our feline residents enjoy the companionship and enrichment that comes from hearing a friendly voice. Reading to cats can help young readers build confidence, improve fluency, and develop a lifelong love of books—all while making a meaningful connection with shelter cats.
Sessions take place at Caring for Cats, 2550 7th Avenue East, North St. Paul, MN 55109.
This unique program, founded by a former Caring for Cats volunteer, benefits both children and cats, creating special moments that are rewarding for everyone involved. We look forward to welcoming your young reader to the shelter.
