Reflecting on What You Make Possible
As the year comes to a close, all of us at Caring for Cats are taking a moment to reflect on what your support has made possible.
This year, we welcomed cats who arrived scared, sick, overlooked, or simply in need of time. Some needed comfort. Some needed patience. Some needed extensive medical care before they could even begin to imagine a forever home. Because of you, every one of them was met with compassion and a safe place to land.
Cats like Savannah, who came to us with a painful eye condition and needed reconstructive surgery before she could heal and play.
Cats like Siren, who required extensive dental care and finally found her forever family after growing up in the shelter.
And cats like Rex, Lucy, Jane, and so many others who are still waiting, trusting that their people will come.
This is what your generosity makes possible every single day.
During the holiday season, the need does not slow down. Food, litter, medical care, and daily supplies are essential to keeping our volunteer-driven, no-kill shelter running and to making sure every cat receives the care they deserve, no matter how long they stay with us.
Right now, gifts made through the end of December will go even further. Thanks to a generous matching supporter, the first $10,000 donated will be matched dollar-for-dollar, doubling the impact of your kindness for the cats in our care.
As we prepare to turn the calendar to a new year, we are deeply grateful for the community that makes this work possible. Your support ensures that when the next cat arrives at our door — no matter their story — we can say yes.
Give today and help every cat heal, thrive, and be loved.
