Catmunity Update: Where They Belong

Oct 13, 2026 | Success Stories

We never get tired of hearing how our former residents are doing. Whether it’s been a few months or several years, an update from an adopted cat’s family is a little reminder of why every cat who comes through our doors matters.

Here are four more happy updates from the Caring for Cats alumni family!

Kalia Celebrates One Year Home

Happy first gotcha-versary to Kalia, formerly known as Tully!

Kalia was just four months old when she was adopted, and her family says she has grown into a social, happy and absolutely delightful cat.

She loves treats, sunbathing and creating a little mischief now and then. Her favorite toys are stuffed hamsters, and she has also formed a lovely bond with her older cat sister, Zirna, and dog brother, Jax.

It sounds like Kalia has settled into her family perfectly!

Ella Is Living the Good Life

Ella, now Ellie, spent about a month at Caring for Cats before finding her perfect match.

This seven-year-old beauty showed volunteers just how sweet she was during her time with us. She got along with everyone, including her feline roommates, and was ready for a family of her own.

Now she has exactly that: a family who adores her and gives her the security, comfort, love and toys she deserves.

We love a happy ending, and Ellie’s update certainly is one.

Hannah Is Still Purrfect

Hannah, known as Genevieve when she was with us, was adopted way back in October 2019.

Her mom recently sent us an adorable update and video, and her message says it all:

“She is purrfect in every way. She’s the love of my life.”

Hannah is happy, has lots of windows to look out of, and is clearly very loved.

Nearly seven years after her adoption, it’s wonderful to know that this sweet girl is still bringing so much joy to her family.

Borp Is Living His Best Life

Remember Borp, who was adopted back in March?

His family recently checked in to let us know that he has settled right in and is having a wonderful time with his new family.

Borp is a playful guy whose favorite toy is a ball of yarn. He also loves chasing and cuddling with his brother, Benji.

And, of course, his family still loves that famous cheeky grin.

From a cat waiting at Caring for Cats to a playful guy happily sharing his home with his new brother, Borp is exactly where he belongs.

Thank You For Your Updates – Keep Them Coming!

Every one of these updates means so much to us. Thank you to the families who open their homes to our cats, give them the chance to settle in at their own pace, and then take the time to let us know how they’re doing.

We love being part of their stories!

Sponsor a Cat Like Tabitha

Tabitha was 2-years-old and looking for the purrfect home after the dominant male kitty in her previous home was picking on her. She was very shy since it was very scary getting picked on and it took her some time to adjust to life in the shelter. Caring for cats donors helped give her the time needed to find a loving patient family.  View our sponsorship page and sponsor a cat like Tabitha
