March 2026 Adoptions at Caring for Cats

Apr 15, 2026 | News & Updates

Celebrating the cats who found their forever homes this month

March brought another wonderful wave of happy endings at Caring for Cats. From playful kittens to long-waiting residents, each adoption represents a thoughtful match and a fresh start. We are so grateful to the adopters, volunteers, and supporters who make these moments possible.

Here are the cats who began their new chapters this March.

Sweet Connor has found his loving home where he will be the center of attention as the only pet. With a retired family ready to spend plenty of time with him, Connor will enjoy all the companionship and affection he deserves.

Kitten brothers Miso and Mochi are off to their forever home together, where they will be thoroughly spoiled as the only pets. With one owner working remotely, they may even make appearances in a few Zoom meetings. These boys eagerly ran into their carrier, ready to start their new lives. Now known as Finneas and Fezich, we wish them all the best.

Sweet Pawl has found his home and will begin his journey with a quiet space to settle in. Once he’s comfortable, he will be introduced to a two-year-old female kitty. Given his experience living among female cats at the shelter, we are hopeful this transition will go smoothly.

These two boys are delighted to continue life together in their forever home. Pretty Boy and Jonathan will be the only pets and will start out in their own space as they adjust. Pretty Boy confidently trotted into the carrier, while Jonathan needed a little encouragement but ultimately didn’t want to be left behind. We’re so happy they found their perfect match.

Sibling pair Buster and Loretta have found a loving home where they will continue their lives together. Their new family was searching for playful, energetic, and snuggly companions, and they found exactly that in this sweet duo. With a young girl excited to play with them, these two are sure to be well loved.

Playful Dexter has found a home with another Caring for Cats alum, Ceres. With her growing reputation as a cuddle bug who loves to play, Ceres was ready for a companion, and Dexter fits the bill perfectly. After a gradual introduction, we hope these two become fast friends.

After more than eight months of waiting, Frogger finally found his perfect home. He had a clear idea of what he wanted, and this family met every requirement. As the only pet in a quiet home with retired adopters, Frogger will enjoy plenty of attention on his own terms. We will miss his big personality and constant chatter.

Sweet Matcha has found her loving home where she will eventually be introduced to a friendly and playful resident cat. With her affectionate and playful personality, she is sure to be a wonderful addition once she settles in.

Tux never let having one eye slow him down. A true people cat, he was always ready to offer affection and brighten someone’s day. He has found a home where he will be the only pet and will have two young children to share his love with. His family was looking for a social, affectionate lap cat, and Tux was the perfect match.

Brothers Ollie and Lenny will continue their journey together in their new home. Lenny quickly chose his family, melting into their arms and offering sweet kitty kisses, while Ollie showed off his playful side. After settling in, they will be introduced to a resident cat who was also adopted from Caring for Cats.

Handsome Borp captured the hearts of his new family, who were looking for a social, affectionate cat to fill their home. He will start out in his own room before being introduced to the family’s cat-friendly dog. We think Borp will fit right in.

Darling sisters Pixie and Daisy will continue their lives together in their loving home. They will be the only pets, which suits them just fine. Their family fell in love with the balance between the two girls. Pixie showed off her goofy, affectionate personality, while Daisy demonstrated her independent side before relaxing on the window ledge. Their family was comforted knowing the girls will have each other during the work week. We look forward to updates once they’ve settled in.

A Month Full of New Beginnings

Every adoption is a new beginning, built on patience, care, and thoughtful matching. We are deeply grateful to the adopters who open their homes, the volunteers who care for our cats each day, and the supporters who make this work possible.

Sponsor a Cat Like Tabitha

Tabitha was 2-years-old and looking for the purrfect home after the dominant male kitty in her previous home was picking on her. She was very shy since it was very scary getting picked on and it took her some time to adjust to life in the shelter. Caring for cats donors helped give her the time needed to find a loving patient family.  View our sponsorship page and sponsor a cat like Tabitha

Sponsor a Cat Like Jack Frost

Jack Frost was a 1-year-old stray kitty still adjusting to the shelter and he needed a quiet, patient home to give him love.
